Lexmark Corporation: The Last OEM Print Provider that is Still Silent on Putin’s War.
To date no press release from Lexmark about Russia’s war in Ukraine.

Literally every OEM in our toner and print industry has issued a press release condemning Russia’s war in Ukraine, with the exception of Lexmark Corp. To date they are the last OEM Toner print resellers that has decided to stay silent. Everyone in the industry knows that Lexmark is state owned by the Chinese Gov., so that maybe why their silence is filling the room. The war in Ukraine puts Lexmark’s U.S. division in a precarious position. Do they do the morally right thing and speak out Vs. a useless war, or do they listen to corporate and keep their mouth shut since the Chinese Government owns them and supports Russia.

These are exceptionally challenging times for any industry, but the optics of this war gives solidarity a new meaning for all businesses and countries involved. If ethics and morals are still important, we expect Lexmark in the U.S. to do what’s right. They need to issue a press release soon and show their solidarity for Ukraine. A simple 2-line paragraph is so easy to do, especially for such a well-placed brand.
Come on Lexmark U.S., start typing and send your Ukraine solidarity to press.
