Help Us Close the Loop – Know Where Your Empty Toner Goes!

All recycling programs are not created equal! Here, at CRC, we only collect cores for US re-manufacturers. This ensures that every OEM (original equipment manufacturer) toner cartridge we collect has the highest probability of being reused within the United States. Many online companies that say they “recycle,” actually sell and ship the empty toner cartridges to foreign countries dramatically increasing the carbon footprint of their products.

Currently new HP models such as the CF258A/X, CF289A/X, W2020A/X color series and W2110A/X color series are in high demand. Foreign companies will ship them overseas, remove the chip and dispose of the rest of the cartridge. They only re-use the chips!  They attach the chips to clone or new compatible cartridges which are then shipped back to the US and ultimately end up in our landfills after a single use.  This is extremely detrimental to the Environment!

Please don’t be fooled!  Only recycle your toner cartridges through original equipment manufacturers recycle programs or companies that ensure remanufacturing stays in the US like Core Recovery Company (CRC).
