tonerKeymasterEpson Dealer XBM Now Services Over 7,000 Printers ans MFP’s Devices Across Europe.
XBM, a leader in sustainable office technology solutions, has announced the acquisition of Office Odyssey, a Midlands-based reseller of Epson single function and multifunction printers across the UK and mainland Europe. This marks XBM’s fifth acquisition in the past two years, reinforcing its growing presence in the market.Since its rebranding in 2021, XBM has made strategic acquisitions, including iDoc Solutions in September 2022, another Epson reseller. With the addition of Office Odyssey, XBM now services over 7,000 devices across Europe, including 500 new devices from Office Odyssey, contributing to a total of over 2,300 printers added to XBM’s fleet.
Paul Bellew will continue to lead Office Odyssey as sales director, with the company operating as a separate unit within the XBM family. XBM is already recognized as Epson’s largest UK reseller and one of only two Epson Diamond Partners in the UK, an exclusive title earned through product expertise, customer support, and sales achievements.
A key reason for the acquisition is the alignment between XBM and Office Odyssey’s social mission, which places sustainability and social value at the core of its operations. Office Odyssey is committed to creating a managed print service (MPS) that focuses on sustainability and operating as a social enterprise. The company exclusively sells low-energy, low-waste technology and has provided free hardware and support to charities, social enterprises, and special needs schools, helping them reduce printing costs and redirect savings to vital services and projects.
XBM shares a similar commitment to supporting not-for-profits and charities across the UK, including providing office equipment and services to organizations like the Fountains Arts CIC3 in Scunthorpe, which promotes arts engagement by repurposing commercial spaces for creative projects.
Richard Taylor, managing director of XBM, expressed his excitement about the acquisition, stating, “Paul has built an incredible social enterprise with a clear and impactful vision. We’re thrilled to work with him and his team to accelerate the growth of the business while continuing our shared commitment to sustainability and community support.”
Paul Bellew added, “When we were looking for a partner that could support our mission of providing meaningful work to individuals excluded by Autism or other barriers, XBM was the obvious choice. As Epson’s number one UK reseller, they understand the value of Heat-Free print technology and share our passion for social responsibility. We look forward to expanding our impact together with Richard and his team.”
