Fujifilm to Increase Consumables
Prices by Double-digits, Starting April 1st 2025. Fujifilm has announced “double-digit” price increases across various consumables and services in response to ongoing cost pressures in the European market.
Despite a stabilization in inflation since last year, the Japanese manufacturer cited rising labor costs, increased freight and warehousing expenses, sustained energy prices, and higher supplier costs as key factors necessitating the price adjustments.
Taku Ueno, senior vice president of Fujifilm Graphic Communications, Europe, acknowledged the impact on customers, stating: โWe understand that price adjustments can be challenging. However, ongoing market pressures leave us with no choice but to revise our pricing structure.
โThese changes are essential to maintaining the quality and reliability our customers expect. The increases, varying by product category, will take effect from 1 April 2025, with affected customers receiving detailed information directly.โ
Fujifilm confirmed that formal communication regarding the price changes will begin tomorrow (28 February).
