Gebos Now Exclusive Distributor for Olivetti Consumables in Germany.
The supplies specialist gebos, which belongs to the IR group, is now the exclusive distributor for Olivetti printing consumables in Germany. The Bensheim-based wholesaler is thus closing the gap created by the end of the collaboration between Olivetti and the Print Media Network (PMN) group.PMN, based in Bönningstedt, had taken over the distribution of Olivetti printers and multifunctional devices in Germany for several years. The Italian manufacturer is now active again with its own team in this country.
“The Olivetti brand is still a strong brand that offers specialist retailers some potential for differentiation,” explains gebos managing director Valerio Trieste, who sees the newly concluded cooperation as confirmation of the strategic orientation of gebos as a full-range supplier. “With the Olivetti-Supplies we are not only rounding off our range, but are also clearly underlining our ‘one-stop-shopping’ approach”.
