RISO is strengthening its commitment to sustainable printing by expanding toner and inkjet consumable recycling programs across Europe, helping customers reduce waste and improve environmental performance. Through its partnership with France-based recycling consortium Conibi, RISO collected and recycled more than 11,000 used cartridges in France during 2025, with similar services also available in Belgium. The program enables print shops and office users to return empty consumables for proper processing and material recovery, supporting the circular economy while reducing landfill waste. Combined with RISO’s energy-efficient cold-printing technology, which eliminates heat-based fusing and ozone emissions, the cartridge recycling initiative highlights the company’s broader focus on lowering the environmental impact of printing operations and promoting responsible consumables management throughout the print industry.
