Xerox has secured Lot 1 of NHS England’s national patient communications programme, making it the largest individual delivery award in the NHS Notify communications initiative. According to Xerox, Lot 1 represents approximately 50% of the programme’s total volumes and is worth up to £200 million, with the company expected to produce and deliver around 75 million patient letters over two years. The major contract highlights the continuing importance of high-volume digital printing, document production, finishing and mailing services despite the NHS’s ongoing shift toward digital patient communications. For Xerox, the NHS England award represents a major recurring print-services opportunity and demonstrates that large organizations and governments continue to rely on physical communications for millions of patients.
