HYB has ignited a fierce battle in India (see below) by launching unauthorized and counterfeit toner cartridges for Canon’s imageFORCE series, throwing a blatant challenge to intellectual property rights and consumer trust. These clone toners, which offer a significantly cheaper alternative to Canon’s original products, are marketed as a “cost-effective” solution, but the hidden dangers are hard to ignore. Not only do they risk damaging printers, leading to poor performance and lower print quality, but they also undermine the very foundation of intellectual property laws.
