Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is expanding its role in the global AI data center boom by supplying advanced servers, networking systems, high-performance computing technology and liquid-cooling solutions to companies developing next-generation facilities. In Japan, Mizuho Securities selected HPE Cray XD2000 systems for a new liquid-cooling-ready data center designed to accelerate financial simulations and prepare for future AI applications. In the United States, cloud infrastructure provider Vultr ordered $1.2 billion of HPE AMD Helios AI systems, with AMD and HPE supplying computing and networking technology for Vultr’s data centers. HPE is also partnering with NVIDIA to deploy powerful GPU-based AI infrastructure for Vultr’s global expansion, while Oracle is using HPE networking technology in its multiyear, large-scale AI infrastructure expansion across data centers worldwide. These projects illustrate HPE’s strategy of supplying and integrating the technology behind AI data centers rather than necessarily constructing every physical facility itself. As global demand for AI computing accelerates, HPE is positioning itself to capture more business from servers, networking, cooling and deployment services—but the ultimate financial payoff will depend on project execution, costs and sustained customer demand.
