Genuine OEM imaging providers are suffering as a result of some loopholes and a lack of clarity. The worst thing is even some counterfeit products are being sold as OEM products without the knowledge of the authorities. A large number of complaints have already been sent from different sectors, including those related to imaging, IT hardware, furniture, automobiles, etc but the action from the authorities is still awaited. The current portal mentions all the mandatory requirements for providers of compatible cartridges/ consumables to be passed as OEM. But even after fulfilling all the criteria, many eligible providers are getting rejected, and, worse, the rejected providers are not even getting any feedback why they were rejected so that those providers could give explanation or take corrective measures.
