Ramsey, NJ, Jan. 22, 2025 โ Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta) is excited to announce that MicroTech, a value-added reseller (VAR) with a focus on federal business, has been awarded a significant contract under the General Services Administration (GSA). The $70 million Printer Blanket Purchase Agreement (GSA BPA 47QTCA240006) features Konica Minoltaโs mid-range multifunction device (MFD) product line.The agreement covers the acquisition and servicing of new, Trade Agreements Act (TAA)-compliant multifunction print devices, which are equipped with advanced capabilities and top-tier security. Konica Minoltaโs bizhub One i-Series MFDs are designed to streamline workflows, enhance communication, and improve productivity while offering exceptional value. These devices are built with industry-leading security features, such as self-encrypting solid-state drives (SSDs), solid-state storage lock, and CAC/PIV integration for secure, authenticated access. The MFDs also include HDD wipe and overwrite functionalities that meet NSA and DOD security standards, ensuring robust data protection.
MicroTech, an SBA-approved Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), partnered with Konica Minolta to win the contract. The agreement spans one year, with the option for four one-year renewals. MicroTechโs federal clients include both civilian and defense agencies, and the new contract offers benefits such as competitive pricing, a streamlined acquisition process, and exceptional support through a certified small business.
