With “MPS Express”, Lexmark has launched a new cloud-based managed print services offering that offers small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) a solution to streamline their document management processes and free them from day-to-day printer management.

“MPS Express” replaces the previous Lexmark “MPS Core” channel offering. As the services have evolved, Lexmark has taken feedback from partners on their MPS needs and expanded beyond basic print services. The new program includes a package of services that meet the needs of small to medium-sized businesses for intelligent printing solutions through a partner – based on a turnkey, cloud-based solution. “MPS Express” offers Lexmark partners enough flexibility to respond to the needs of SMB customers. Accordingly, the new program provides partners with tools to create their own commercial package for SMB customers.

In this way a long-term relationship is built, “Many channel partners have asked for a solution that allows them to create a competitive offering for end customers with only a small investment in their MPS infrastructure. We are pleased to present a program tailored precisely to these requirements,” explains Michael Lang, Managing Director of Lexmark DACH. “’MPS’ Express includes appropriate services, support, proactive replacement of consumables and remote management capabilities, so small and medium-sized businesses no longer have to worry about managing their printing infrastructure. This is particularly beneficial for those companies that do not have in-house IT resources.”

With “MPS Express”, Lexmark partners benefit, among other things, from advanced diagnostic systems that help to anticipate incidents such as running out of consumables and thus enable predictive maintenance. This ensures efficient workflows and improves productivity.
