No Injuries Reported After Roof Fire Forces Evacuation at Fujifilm Plant.
A fire that appeared to originate in a rooftop HVAC unit prompted the evacuation of FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies in the Holly Springs Business Park on Monday morning.

The fire, which began around 10 a.m. in a cooling tower on the building’s roof, was quickly contained within an hour, according to a company spokesperson.

All employees and contractors were safely evacuated, and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
