A4 Color Laser Devices to Boost Efficiency and Sustainability.
Ricoh Australia has launched a new series of compact, feature-rich A4 colour laser printers designed to help businesses streamline workflows, enhance data security, and reduce their environmental footprint. The lineup includes the IM C320F and M C320FW multifunction printers (MFPs), as well as the single-function P C375 printer, all tailored for decentralized offices, frontline services, and large enterprises. The IM C320F and M C320FW models offer comprehensive functionalities, including copying, printing, scanning, and faxing, with the M C320FW featuring wireless connectivity. The P C375 serves as a dedicated A4 colour printer. Both multifunction models are equipped with a Single-Pass Document Feeder (SPDF) for fast double-sided scanning and can handle up to 800 sheets with an optional additional paper tray. In contrast, the P C375 supports a larger input capacity of 1,300 sheets, ideal for high-volume environments.
Sustainability is a key focus of this new range. All models are constructed with 50% post-consumer recycled plastic, and packaging has been reduced by 31%. Additionally, the introduction of energy-efficient toner eliminates the need for plastic toner bags, with toner cartridge labels now being laser-engraved.
Ricoh has incorporated several energy-saving technologies, including a more thermally efficient transfer unit and low-melting-point toner, contributing to impressive Typical Energy Consumption (TEC) values. These features align with environmentally responsible business practices.
Security is also a top priority for these devices. Each model is equipped with advanced security protocols such as Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3), WPA3 wireless security, SNMPv3, user code authentication, and secure communication protocols. The IM C320F and P C375 include additional features like machine data encryption, encrypted PDF mode, secure printing, and a function to erase all memory, ensuring data protection throughout the device’s lifecycle.
The new devices come with several standout features. The IM C320F, dubbed an Intelligent MFP, delivers A3 equivalent functionality in a compact A4 design. It includes a 7″ Smart Operation Panel, Bluetooth 5.2, and Ricoh Always Current Technology, enabling users to download the latest features and security updates. The M C320FW, classified as an Essential MFP, offers reliable performance with easy setup via QR codes and a cost-effective design featuring a 4.3″ touch panel. The P C375, a mid-range colour printer, is equipped with a 4-line LCD panel and is optimized for low-cost printing in office environments focused solely on printing.
Sul Koralege, Product Manager of Ricoh Australia, commented on the launch, stating, “Australian businesses today face the challenge of optimizing their print infrastructure to support a hybrid workforce while balancing sustainability, productivity, and security.” He added, “Our new A4 Colour Laser MFP and Print devices provide smart solutions for agile workplaces, reflecting our commitment to innovation and sustainability. We look forward to helping customers achieve their sustainability goals and minimize their environmental impact.”
