HP Inc. has not yet formally notified the State of Idaho of its plans to leave its West Boise campus, even though the company is required to give the state at least 12 months’ notice before relocating. The technology company recently informed employees that it intends to exit the Boise site by the end of 2027 as part of a broader strategy to consolidate operations in other Pacific Northwest hubs, including locations in Oregon. While the announcement has raised questions about the future of the long-standing campus and its workforce, state officials say they have not received the required official notification from HP regarding the planned departure.
