Spanish Soccer Club Real Madrid Seal $75.7 Million Sponsorship Deal With HP.
HP becomes Real Madrid’s new technology partner in a €70 million ($75.7 million) per season deal, which will be officially announced on February 2nd. The deal will involve HP’s logo appearing on the sleeve of Real Madrid’s jersey, along with Fly Emirates, the main jersey sponsor. The club hinted at the news on social media on Thursday, sparking rumors among fans about a possible new signing. The post had 9.4 million impressions on X, formerly known as Twitter, in four hours.

Real Madrid’s jersey sponsorship now reaches $270 million, thanks to the deals with Adidas, Fly Emirates, and HP. Adidas is the kit manufacturer until 2028, paying €117.6 million ($127.2 million) per year. Fly Emirates is the main jersey sponsor until 2026, paying €70 million ($75.7 million) per season. These sponsorships have helped the club increase its revenue by 16% to €831.4 million ($905.3 million) in 2022/23, with a 26% rise in commercial revenue to €403 million ($438.8 million). HP’s sponsorship will add to this growth.

Real Madrid aims to reach €1 billion ($1.08 billion) in revenue by 2024/25, with the support of its existing and new sponsors. The club also expects to benefit from the renovation of the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, which will be ready for the new season. The stadium will generate €166 million ($179.6 million) in revenue from ticket sales, corporate hospitality, and other events. One of the events will be Taylor Swift’s concerts on May 30 and 31st, as part of The Eras Tour. She will be the first major international artist to perform at the stadium since Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band in May 2016.
