    Stop the Sale of Counterfeit Ink Cartridges on Amazon.    Reporting fraud helps everyone – including small businesses – and now it's easier to do | Federal Trade Commission
    We need everyone to contact Amazon and the FTC and file a complaint to stop the anti-competitive practices from overseas manufacturers of falsely labeling newly built cartridges as “remanufactured.” This unscrupulous business practice hurts everyone.

    The companies listed below all sell newly build ink cartridges on Amazon, labeled as “Remanufactured.” Confirm for yourself before you file a complaint. Place an order on Amazon from any of the companies below and you will receive a counterfeit cartridge labeled as “Remanufactured” or their cartridges are listed as remanufactured but are new built.

    If we continue to allow online retailers like Amazon, sell counterfeit printer cartridges falsely labeled as “remanufactured,” it will lead to the destruction of what’s left of the Ink and Toner remanufacturing Industry.

    Now that Chinese manufacturers have a direct line to consumers through online selling platforms, they are undercutting remanufacturers with new built counterfeit cartridges falsely labeled “remanufactured.” If this anti-competitive practice doesn’t stop, we will be totally reliant on overseas manufacturers. If nothing is done, the unintended consequences are too great to ignore!

    Ben Franklin famously said when signing the Declaration of Independence,
    “If we don’t all hang together, we will all hang separately.”
