Who's in Charge? The Ethics of Listening, and Not Listening, to Clients

Many businesses have struggled during the pandemic that continues to rage on despite all will return to pre-Covid life. Very few industries have been harder hit than US based toner manufacturing, Copier companies and printing supplies distribution, so when greedy capital companies such as Blackford get away with unscrupulous moves essentially stealing money and goods from their vendors, it damages the entire industry significantly.  They have demonstrated once again how unwise and detrimental it is to do business with them in any form, as if anyone in the industry needed reminding.  However, the reminder was just directly issued from the horse’s mouth.

It is imperative now that every company who has just been left with unpaid receivables and suffered what amounts to theft of their products or goods, cut them off completely.  Their new house of cards structure should fold easily if every vendor that took a hit from their back handed shuffle game refuses to do business with them.  Their vendors have the power to improve and strengthen the industry by ridding it of the deceitful bottom-feeding entity that remains intact via Blackford’s double-dealing.

Their chicanery involved leaving all debt with the now defunct Online Tech Store (OTS) division and selling off most of its assets to a company also owned by Blackford, International Toner.  This is predicted to be a last-ditch effort to realize some value from bad investments and poorly planned execution of their get rich quick scheme.

Many in the industry will call for a boycott of Supplies Wholesalers and International Toner who have been rewarded the virtually stolen inventory at the price of a penny on the dollar. If Blackford is allowed to remain in business operating as Supplies Wholesalers and International Toner and held harmless in their spurious acts toward their suppliers, it is highly likely that they will build up the façade of a profitable company and execute their original exit strategy of selling to an unwitting buyer in the next few years. This would add insult to injury if allowed by those in the know and with the ability to restrict their options to do so.

Online Tech stores through their Supplies Wholesalers division is responsible for simultaneously driving down the profitability and displacing US jobs in the printing industry via their strategy of cutting prices to gain market share, prop up the balance sheet and profit from a quick sell out.

If you are a vendor, you can be part of the problem or part of the solution.  Make good choices!
