2005 – Venlo (NL): Océ has reported a sharp decline in its Q1 net income.
The company revealed net profit down 47 per cent to €9.1 million ($11.7
million) on flat sales of €622.8 million, although organic sales lifted nearly 2
per cent.
Chairman Rokus van Iperen said: “Our strategy, whose main
thrusts are a strengthening of the sales organisation and continual product
innovation, is bearing fruit.
In the first quarter we achieved a strong
increase in sales of printing systems and software. These are the drivers of our
business.”
