Konica Minolta Delivers Three New Monochrome MFPs
bizhub 362/282/222 Series Serves as the Workflow Hub for Workgroups and Enterprise Markets

(Konica Minolta), a leading provider of advanced imaging and networking
technologies for the desktop to the print shop, today launched the
bizhub(R) 362/282/222 Series of monochrome multifunctional products
(MFPs – print, copy, fax, and scan all in one system). The bizhub 362,
bizhub 282 and bizhub 222 systems serve as the secure “hub” for small
offices and workgroups including accounting, logistics and human
resources.With advanced security, printing, copying, scanning and
optional faxing, the new monochrome MFPs are ideal replacements for
stand-alone machines still prevalent in many offices. The bizhub 362,
bizhub 282 and bizhub 222, which can be used as network devices or
independently, produce 36, 28, and 22 pages per minute

hacking, theft, fraud, and sabotage. The bizhub 362/282/222 Series
offers a full spectrum of advanced security features, including an
Account Track function that requires ID and password and tracks user
volume; User Authentication via Active Directory or MFP; SSL Security;
Secure Printing/Secure Batch Printing; SMTP Authentication; POP3 before
SMTP Authentication and APOP (Authenticated Post Office Protocol).The
bizhub 362/282/222 Series continues Konica Minolta’s global commitment
in minimizing environmental impact at every stage of the product
lifecycle, including disposal. Outer casings of all MFPs are made from
the same two types of plastic, creating a closed loop for recycling
plastics from end-of-life MFPs to production of newer models. Also,
Konica Minolta’s proprietary Simitri(R) polymerized toner consumes less
energy during printing versus conventional pulverized toner, toner
bottles are made of recycled plastics, and a sophisticated toner
recycling system automatically collects and re-uses toner not fused
during printing for re-use, saving roughly 20 percent.

Pricing and Availability
The
bizhub 362/282/222 Series is available now through Konica Minolta’s
North American direct sales and authorized dealer sales channels. The
manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for the bizhub 362 is
$8,033; the bizhub 282 is $6,300; and the bizhub 222 is $5,240.
