After 7 years Mr Darren Ryan Resigns From Canon Australia

Darren Ryan, the general manager of marketing at Canon, has resigned after a seven-year spell with the company.

“After nearly seven years with Canon, Darren feels the time is right for a change and is comfortable to take some time out to consider the future,” said Jason McLean, director, Canon consumer imaging, Canon Australia.

The hunt is underway for a replacement for the man behind award-winning campaigns such as Photochains, which won at Cannes in 2010. Ryan leaves on April 26.

“Darren’s characteristic focus, dedication and passion have left an indelible mark on Canon and he will leave us with a great legacy for future growth and achievement,” said McLean.

Canon’s agencies include Leo Burnett Sydney.
