AVT Creates Insta-Ink/re-man ink cartridges, Vending Machine

CORONA, CA — AVT Inc. has designed and is reportedly planning to produce a self-serve kiosk for Insta-Ink, which markets remanufactured ink cartridges. The AVT system will automate ink cartridge transactions, from purchases to returns for recycling purposes.

The Insta-Ink system will hold more than 800 of the most popular printer cartridges. Customers will be able to enter the brand name, cartridge number or printer model on the machine’s touchscreen to find a selection; the system then finds the desired cartridge and dispenses it. The machine reportedly can accept used cartridges and store them for recycling.

AVT Inc., based in Corona, CA, develops self-service retailing systems and custom vending machines.
