    BANK OF AMERICA RAISES LOAN TO STAPLES INC TO $1Bln

    2010- Office supplies retailer Staples Inc (SPLS.O) said it has entered
    into a new credit agreement that will allow it to borrow as much as $1
    billion.The new agreement replaces an old one which limited Staples to
    borrowing $750 million and under which Staples had no loans outstanding
    as of Thursday.
    The new credit line can be raised to $1.5 billion if
    its lenders, led by Bank of America , agree, Staples said in a filing
    with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
