The Dirty Cut-Throat Wholesale Toner Business.Competition is fierce in the ever-changing wholesale toner consumables landscape.
2019, started fairly common with the usual people doing their usual toner thing, but things spiral out of control really fast these past few months. From China, to Europe and the U.S. Competition is fierce and everyone is trying to position themselves for what's left of the toner pie.
Most Chinese clone toner manufactures are now selling direct on amazon and other platforms under many aliases. Hp is now taking on remanufacturers and has lowered their price to specifically under-cut honest toner remanufacturers. Canon has been extremely diligent and successful at exposing Chinese Clone toner resellers on Amazon, especially in Europe where the practice was prevalent and out of control due in large part to Europe's Toner association ETIRA for turning a blind eye to honest Toner remanufacturing. Famous internet reseller LD Products has seen a huge drop in sales because the Chinese clone toner and ink network that us to supply LD Products exclusively, are now going direct on amazon and other platforms around the globe.
The Chinese are now suing news agencies and well-known industry advocates and are blaming them for this sudden downturn. Trump is attacking China on all fronts and it's all spiraling out of control before our eyes. Jim Morrison from the Doors once said " The future's uncertain and the end is always near " well this seems to be the case for our industry. On the positive side Print is still relevant and global printing output has not dropped so drastically as once taught. there is still hope and chances are if you stay the course you will find your success, as long as you can navigate this new competitive landscape.
