    Important Notice about Free-of-Charge Inspection and Modification of Konica Minolta A4 Color PrintersKonica Minolta Business Technologies, Inc. and Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., INC. (collectively Konica Minolta) are announcing a voluntary program to inspect the following models of Konica Minolta brand printers that may, in very rare circumstances, cause overheating or, in extreme cases, a risk of fire.
    Products: Color printer magicolor 4750DN, 3730DN
    Models

    Color printer:magicolor 4750DN/sold June 2010 through March 2011 September 2010 or later
    Color printer:magicolor 3730DN/sold June 2010 through March 2011 November 2010 or later

    Root Cause: In some of these printers a cable was improperly attached in the manufacturing process. While the printer is running, it may cause overheating or, in extreme cases, a risk of fire.Units with a green sticker on the rating label, as seen in the example below, have already been inspected and, if necessary, modified. These units are good for continued use.

    Remedy: Konica Minolta will inspect and modify, free of charge, the listed products in order to ensure safe use for the customers.
