Canon Releases New PortAble and All-In-One Printers

Philippines — Canon Marketing Inc. launches three new PIXMA printers
– the PIXMA iP100, PIXMA MX7600 and PIXMA MX850. The PIXMA iP100 is the
perfect tote-worthy companion for the globetrotting executive, with its
high-speed and professional printing features packed in a slim body.
The PIXMA MX7600 and PIXMA MX850 answer the all-in-one printing needs
of small-office or home-based professionals, be it printing in
monochrome or in colour, scanning, faxing and networking.Canon
raises the bar for its PIXMA line with every model. “We are proud to
introduce the revolutionary Pigment Reaction (PgR) technology with the
PIXMA MX7600,” said Canon president and chief executive, Ramon G.
Arteficio. “With this clear-ink-coat capability, the inkjet printer’s
bleeding and show-through are eliminated, leaving a no curling even in
heavily-coloured prints,” Arteficio continues.PIXMA iP100 – A printer on-the-go
The
new PIXMA iP100 is Canon’s latest portable printer in an ergonomic
322x185x61.7mm, 2-kg lightweight body, smaller than your average-sized
laptop. The travelling executive can print both professional documents
and high-quality photos wirelessly via infrared from a mobile phone, PC
or PDA, or via an optional Bluetooth adapter (BU-30) that can further
expand connectivity. Charging time is only two hours for the PIXMA
iP100’s optional long-lasting battery, capable of printing up to 450
pages with every charge.As the PIXMA iP100 is built for the
executive-on-the-go, printing speed is not compromised in its compact
design. Monochrome A4 projects can be printed in speeds of up to 20
pages per minute (ppm), and 14ppm for colour.It is also capable of fast
printing on envelopes as well as most marketing collaterals. For
photos, the PIXMA iP100 is capable of printing beautiful, borderless
ones in 4×6″, 5×7″, and A4 with its Easy-PhotoPrint EX software.It
also boasts of 1,856 nozzles that enable precision printing over high
speeds over a single pass without compromising quality of resolution.
The PIXMA iP100 delivers stunning 9600×2400 dpi resolution, and ink
droplets size as small as 1 Pico litre, for crisp, vibrant, accurate
colours with smooth graduations. With its unique “Save Black Ink”
feature, the PIXMA iP100 allows continued printing even when the black
ink tank is empty. The printer combines the cyan, magenta, and yellow
inks to create a composite black.Canon raises the standard of
business printing with the introduction of two All-In-One (AIO)
Business Printers – the PIXMA MX7600 and the PIXMA MX850. Both printers
are designed to deliver not only high speed and quality, but also a
host of media handling options and networking features to boost
productivity and efficiency.The PIXMA MX7600 uses the
revolutionary Pigment Reaction (PgR) technology. An innovative ink
system that infuses the unique properties of pigment ink with a clear
surface coating, PgR technology produces high quality prints on plain
paper with laser-quality text, sharp, vibrant graphics and stunning
photos to add a professional touch to your most important prints. This
technology applies a film of “clear ink,” effectively turning plain
paper into coated, and acts as a protective layer, making even
plain-paper prints resistant to water spills. It also allows the ink to
dry twice as quick, relative to other inkjet printers, without the
curling, ink bleeding and “show-through” associated with most colour
inkjet printing on plain paper. The PIXMA MX7600 does not only print
well, it also prints fast at 28 pages per minute (ppm) for monochrome
documents, 23 ppm for colour documents, and only 43 seconds for a
stunning borderless 4×6″ photo prints.Business users will find
the PIXMA MX850 to be the perfect choice for their professional needs
as it is capable of fast document printing and copying, as well as
lab-quality photo prints. With the capabilities of microscopic 1 Pico
litre ink droplet, a maximum resolution of 9600×2400 dpi, and print
speeds of 31 ppm for monochrome documents and 24 ppm for colour
documents, the PIXMA MX850 is an innovation for efficiency. The PIXMA

Already
with a high-speed 35-sheet capacity Auto Document Feeder (ADF) for
duplex scanning and copying, as well as Advanced Media Handling
capabilities, Canon raises the bar with other enhancements to its
latest PIXMA MX7600 and MX 850 AIO Business printers to include two-way
paper feeding, built-in auto duplex, and direct DVD and CD printing and
copying.Both the PIXMA MX7600 and MX 850 are also equipped with
the Super G3 fax standard for high-speed electronic transmission,
enabling a user to transmit an A4-size page document in approximately 3
seconds. They also have a 250-page transmission-reception memory
ensuring all fax documents will be received.The PIXMA M850 is
fitted with a large 2.5″ LCD display while the PIXMA MX7600 has a
vibrant 1.8″ LCD display. Both have built-in memory card slots for
printing even without a PC for enhanced functionality, with the USB
Bluetooth adapter as an optional accessory.Every Canon PIXMA
printer is built with the patented Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle
Engineering (FINE) technology that delivers professional-quality print
documents and high-quality, fast, borderless photos at a fraction of
the time it takes for conventional inkjet printers.Combining
the use of Canon genuine dye inks and professional photo papers,
Canon’s ChromaLife100 system is capable of producing prints that resist
