Canon USA uses tennis star in PowerShot advertisement
In news which may be of interest to users of Canon laser toner cartridges and Canon printer cartridges, Canon USA has announced the launched a new advertising campaign featuring Maria Sharapova.In order to promote the PowerShot SD750 Digital Elph camera, Ms Sharapova will appear in two advertisements, dubbed Dolce and Banter, reports LetsGoDigital.”This campaign continues to reinforce Maria’s connection with the brand,” said Yuichi Ishizuka, senior vice president and general manager of the Consumer Imaging Group at Canon USA.”For the third instalment of our campaign with Maria, we wanted to show how passionate she is about taking pictures with her Canon PowerShot,” he added.To be shown over a number of formats – including print and television – the campaign will be launched before the Roland Garros, French Open begins on May 27th.The French Open became established as a tournament for French nationals in 1891, which may be of interest to users of Lexmark printer cartridges and HP printer cartridges.
