Cartridge World
planning to expand its franchise network in India
According to a report published on the
website, http://www.ibtimes.com,
Cartridge
World, one of the leading franchises retailing printer cartridges,
opened its sixth franchisee-run store in India last month. In an
interview, Mr Naveen Rakhecha – CEO – South Asia, Cartridge World, said:
“Cartridge World has a strong presence in all the major Indian cities.
We are now looking at aggressively expanding into Tier II and Tier III
cities too. At Cartridge World the slowdown has catalyzed our growth
process. Even the staunchest ‘OEM only’ user is now ready to give us a
chance as cost cutting becomes imperative. The presence of a globally
established brand which offers guaranteed service helps them take this
first step more reassuringly.”The article also reveals that the
franchisor is planning to launch stores in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and
Nepal and expects to have around 250 franchise-run stores across the
Indian sub-continent over the next 2 to 3 years.About
