Aster Group Begins Operations
Aster Group, a promising new company dedicated to the printer supplies industry, was recently established with the headquarters in Zhongshan, Guandong, China by a team of Industry Experts.  Back in March this year, The Recycler Magazine reported that this team will set up a new business in the near future.  This team’s experts cover the all the field including  management, R&D, QA, manufacturing, marketing and sales. Most of them have at least 8-10 years’ leardership experience in our industry. They as a team had successfully managed one company in our industry and led it from a very small size to one of the biggest entity in the remanufactured laser toner industry in just 4 years. 

With the powerful support of the venture capital from a Jiangxi based company, Aster Group made a large investment on the newly established firm. Aster Group’s manufacturing facility, with a registered capital of 100 million RMB (about 15 million USD), has been completed in Jiangxi, China and successfully carried out its trial production in early April. The facility covers an industrial park of 360,000m2, of which the floor space is more than 140,000m2. According to Aster’s plan, the initial investment will be 230 million RMB (about 35 million USD) and the designed monthly capacity of the first stage is 300,000 pieces of toner cartridges. Now a team of 200 people, including 160 production workers, 20 QA personnel and 10 engineers, are working in the factory.

In Zhongshan, where Aster’s global sales and marketing center is located, a 1,000m2 new office has just finished its decoration.  The staff of 60 people will move in late April. To provide its customers with faster shipping, Aster is setting up its US branch to serve the American market.
