China Q2 printer shipments 2.3 mln units, up 2.2% vs Q1
BEIJING
– China’s shipments of printers in the second quarter rose 2.2 pct
quarter-on-quarter to 2.335 mln units, Beijing IT research house
Analysys International said.The market value grew by 3.2 pct from the
previous quarter to 3.1 bln yuan, Analysys said in a
statement.Hewlett-Packard led the market with a 33.5 pct share,
followed by Epson with 21.9 pct and Canon with 14.7 pct.China shipped
1.441 mln units of inkjet printers in the second quarter, accounting
for 61.7 pct of total printer shipments.Laser printer shipments stood
at 673,000 units in the second quarter, accounting for 28.8 pct of
total printer shipments, Analysys said.
