Whatever you do… don’t
trust your printer! According to various conspiracy theorists your
printer may be watching you! In fact, there are many organizations who
believe that all, or at least the majority or printers released in 2010
have been equipped with the all seeing and all knowing “big brother”
microchip!Since technology first began to advance there have
been those in the world who believe that the government has been
watching their every move and has been infringing on their rights.
People first believed that their phone calls were being listened to and
monitored at all times. People have believed that they are tracked via
shards of plastic found in American currency. With the conception of
computers there have always been those who believe that every keystroke
they make on their computer is being monitored by various intelligence
agencies from around the world.This is generally known as the “big
brother” syndrome and who knows — these people could be right!The
most recent conspiracy theory on the move involves the release of
printers in 2010 which have been equipped with special microchips that
actually catalogs everything that you scan or print on your printer.
The people who are attempting to spread this message are warning people
not to trust newer modeled printers but to use older version printers in
order to protect themselves and the content they produce via
printers.All major printer companies have scoffed at this idea and have
declared it to be false… but isn’t that what “big brother” would say?
