Epson Quietly Increases Consumables Prices for Many Desktop Inkjets

When we were writing about Epson America’s launch of the WorkForce WF-7010, WF-7510, and WF-7520 a couple of weeks ago (see “Epson Releases Super B-Sized Inkjets for Businesses”), something immediately caught our attention. The OEM appeared to have increased U.S. pricing for the machines’ inkjet cartridges, which were originally released in 2010. Now that we have done a little further digging, it is clear that Epson America has instituted price increases in the United States on some of its most popular inkjet consumables used in desktop devices.
