Epson invests more than 1 billion yuan in China this year
As Epson put again an additional fund in its Suzhou company, its investment in China this year has exceeded 1 billion yuan, with the total figure topping 6 billion yuan.
This is the 20th year that Epson invests in China, and the additional fund of 1 billion yuan this year demonstrates Epson’s confidence in China market, a person in charge of Epson’s China division said. For Epson, China is not only an important sales market, but the most important partner who deserves input.
As one of global top 500, Epson has for seven successive years the No.1 in terms of printer sales on the Chinese market (IDC statistics) and among the top companies regarding sales of related products including projector. By now, Epson has established 17 institutions of manufacture, logistics, sales and R&D institutions in China, with a total staff number exceeding 30,000.
