EPSON unveils world’s first Ink Tank Printers

Debug Computer Peripherals, the only authorised distributor for EPSON in Sri Lanka unveiled its latest range of Epson Colour Inkjet Printers with Continuous Ink Tank System.

The New EPSON L100 Single Function Printer and the L200 Multifunction Printer come with the world’s first original ‘Continuous Ink Tank System’ to offer customers the lowest cost per print.

The EPSON L Series printer range is the ideal solution to the growing concern of customers of the high cost of replacement inks.

The initial printer comes with one set of Inks (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) plus two extra black inks which can produce up to 14,000 copies from the initial set of inks that are included with the printer. So it only costs Rs. 40 cents and 80 cents for a black and white and a colour printout respectively.

EPSON’S revolutionary ink technology guarantees high quality, outstanding glossiness and superior image quality at the most affordable cost.

Debug is upbeat about its new product offering and says the adoption of this “High Print Volume at Low Print Cost” solution is already widespread in certain regions of the country.

These machines are backed by a one year’s manufacturers warranty or 14,000 copies, whichever comes first.

The EPSON L100 and L200 Continuous Ink Tank printers are now available at all Debug showrooms and distributors island wide.

Debug reminds all customers to insist on the Debug, EPSON warranty card with all their purchases of EPSON L100 and L200 Continuous Ink Tank printers.

Epson releases 4 new printers in the US
New all-in-ones claimed to save on ink, paper costs

Printer manufacturer Epson America, Inc. bolstered its line of business printers with four new WorkForce all-in-one printers — the Epson WorkForce WF-3540, WorkForce WF-3520, WorkForce WF-2540 and WorkForce WF-2530. The new models continue to deliver business printing at fast speeds and high-quality, professional-looking documents. In addition, these models offer new features for productivity and affordability including an improved user interface, multiple paper trays, and automatic duplex paper handling.

The WorkForce WF-3540 and WF-3520 offer two-sided print speeds of up to 15 pages per minute for a monochrome print and color speeds approximately 9.2 pages per minute. Epson claims up to a 40 percent lower printing cost with these two printers than equivalent color laser printing. The two models also offer automatic two-sided printing, scanning, copying and faxing.

The WorkForce WF-3540 and WF-3520 offer productivity features including high page capacity (500 sheets for the WF-3540; 250 for the WF-3520) and extra high capacity ink cartridges for minimal user intervention during the print process. Plus, the 30-sheet duplex ADF, sturdy front paper trays, and rear paper feed accommodate a variety of paper types and stock including envelopes, card stock and other specialty media for versatility in paper handling.

The Epson WorkForce WF-2540 and WF-2530 offer individual ink cartridges and a space saving, compact design. These all-in-one printers are only slightly slower than more expensive printers in the line — 9 pages per minute in black and 4.7 pages per minute in color. A 30-sheet auto document feeder allows quick copying or scanning of stacks of original documents.

The WorkForce WF-2540 features a 2.5" LCD for easy navigation and comes with both wired and built-in wireless connectivity for easy setup and sharing on a network. The WorkForce WF-2530 includes PC-fax and OCR software to scan and save documents as text-searchable, editable PDF documents.

The EPSON WorkForce WF-3540 retails for $200, with the WorkForce WF-3520 priced at $150. The WorkForce WF-2540 sells for $130, and WorkForce WF-2530 comes in at $100, Alk will be available later this fall at retail and the online Epson Store.
