Sydney, Australia – June 2005 – Fuji Xerox Printers, the leader in printing innovation, today announced 113 percent growth in unit sales across the Asia Pacific region in its 2004 fiscal year, which ended in March 2005.

This is a watershed in Fuji Xerox Printers 25-year history. This dramatic success, lead by Managing Director of Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific Printer Channel Operations, James Henderson, is the result of a strategic restructure of the Fuji Xerox Printer business across Asia Pacific.

According to Henderson, “Fundamentally we have created an International business which has created greater opportunity for our staff and partners to create better value for customers. Fuji Xerox Printers has gained significant market share, with the majority of its 11 key markets more than doubling their unit sales. Our aggressive and sound business strategy positions Fuji Xerox Printers to offer customers the rare combination of proven industry expertise coupled with innovative and reliable products.”

Henderson became Managing Director of Fuji Xerox Printers in April 2003 to assume responsibility for the entire printer operations in the Asia Pacific region. Included in this, is responsibility for developing and driving overall business volumes and managing profitability. He navigated the creation of Fuji Xerox Printers, and its dramatic growth as Fuji Xerox’s most successful international business unit.

Recently, Fuji Xerox Printers released two colour models; C525 A and C2535 A; and three monochrome printers; Phaser 3116, Phaser 3121 and Phaser 5500. These models offered faster speeds and better print qualities, at lower price points, which puts Fuji Xerox Printers innovation within better reach of SOHOs and home users.

Building on its FY04 success, Fuji Xerox Printers has decided to set even more challenging targets for its upcoming FY05.
