Rights group praises Lexmark’s worker policies
Lexmark
International was the only Kentucky business among 195 named yesterday
by the Human Rights Campaign as the best places to work for gay,
lesbian, bisexual and transgender workers.The Washington, D.C.,
nonprofit foundation said Lexmark scored 100 percent for its inclusive
policies, including offering full benefits to same-sex partners, as
well as to spouses of employees. Other companies on the list included
Cincinnati-based Macy’s Inc. and Eli Lilly & Co. of Indianapolis.
