    Green Project, Inc.  Announces Settlement with Canon Inc.

    GREEN PROJECT TO CONTINUE SELLING FULL LINE OF CANON PRINTER CARTRIDGES AFTER SETTLEMENT OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE COMMISSION AND DISTRICT COURT CASES

    Hacienda Heights, California, [October  2012]  Canon and Green Project have resolved their pending disputes in the International Trade Commission and U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York regarding Green Project’s alleged infringement of Canon’s U.S. Patent Nos. 5,903,803 and 6,128,454.  To resolve these matters, Green Project will stipulate to a Consent Order from the International Trade Commission and a Consent Judgment and Permanent Injunction from the Southern District of New York, which will prohibit Green Project from making, using, selling and offering for sale in the U.S., and from importing into the U.S., the toner cartridges that Canon accused of infringement.  The terms of the settlement are confidential.
