HP board refuses to re-elect Keyworth
September
2006 — Palo Alto (CA): Hewlett-Packard’s (HP) board of directors has
refused to nominate George Keyworth for re-election on the grounds that
he leaked confidential company information to the press.Keyworth, who
admitted leaking the information, was asked to resign his position as a
director which he “declined to do”, the company said. His position on
the board will end in March.
