    Hp Partners With  Uk's Crown Commercial Service

    HP has announced a partnership with the UK public sector in which its personal systems will be available through CCS tech products framework.

    The CCS performs on behalf of the Crown, providing professional procurement services to the UK Government and works with with organisations across the whole public sector.

    This agreement will see HP providing local governments with workstations, PCs, printers, tablets, notebooks and thin clients.

    George Brasher, VP and GM of PPS HP in the UK and Ireland, said: “As one of the largest IT providers to the public sector, HP is fully committed to supporting the UK Government initiative to increase value-for-money in IT spending.

    “Availability of HP personal systems through lot 4 of the new CCS technology products franwork will drive utilisation of more standard commodity products”

    The partnership will allow public sector customers to purchase goods and services through pre-tendered contracts with a number of suppliers.
