Hp Purges 13,000 to 14,000 Wholesalers Off The Supplies Consumables List
    By Jim Ladd @ Tonernews

Xerox just presently announced that they are following hp's footsteps and are also giving Digitek a supplies consumables distribution, not surprising the least from our point of view, we 1st heard about Digitek a few years ago when lexmark was the first big OEM to give them a consumable supplies distribution.

Effective November 1st 2013 was D-day for our industry and from reliable sources that we've talk to Hp purged around 13,000 to 14,000 wholesalers off the supplies consumables list, that is allot of ink and toner my friends, why do this you ask, simple because if new Partners/wholesalers don't mind giving up information about the buyers of these supplies Directly back to the OEM's it makes it simple for hp and all the other OEMs' to control an industry, Put that together along with MPS and there you go, all falls in line under there master plan to know every buyers buying habit that buys there supplies and find new ways in the future to control these consumable supplies for their own personal profits.

We Also believe that by controlling the consumable supplies in such a matter that they can also control the flow of empty cartridges, pretty smart of them too, empties will become more and more scares ( like they already are), thus putting more pressure on most remanufactures of toners.

The big reason this all started in our opinion was because of MPS (managed print services). It was easy to get some wholesalers and most in-users in line with this plan although it did take a few years to work, but now all is easily controlled by the OEMs', right from your printer. Think about it? if you tell a fortune company that they will save money by implementing this new great printing software, mostly would give it a try, why not when you can save 20% to 30% on your printing needs?, tonernews has been railling against MPS for years, we knew that this was going to happen we we tried to warn the industry about this intrusive form of spyware, but very few listened? or was all this just the way the modern digital future was suppose to work, who knows? you'll have to decided for yourself.

Of course you don't have to believe Tonernews,

But Please Check out these articles and then decide.

At this point all we can say to wholesalers that value there privacy and there financial future is to think twice about who you buy your OEM consumable supplies from, form alliances and fight this intrusive trend by the OEM's, it shouldn't be to hard to prove that they are all working together to squash our industry thus breaking many anti-trust laws in doing so.
