Taiwan market: HP wants aims for half the inkjet MFP market.

Hewlett-Packard (HP) expects to sell 180,000 inkjet MFPs (multi-function peripherals) in Taiwan this year, and account for 50% of a market estimated to reach 350,000-400,000 units, according to HP Taiwan marketing director Richard Hu.

HP sold 120,000 inkjet MFPs in Taiwan last year, Hu indicated.

Demand for inkjet printers will reach 600,000-650,000 units in Taiwan this year, Hu noted.
