IKON wins acclaimed safety award
June 2006 – Maidstone (UK): IKON Office Solutions was presented with a top award at a banquet in London’s prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel.The OP supplier and office solutions company received an International Safety Award form the training and advisory body, the British Safety Council. Over 1,000 people from a diverse range of businesses watched performances by Cirque du Soleil acrobats and a Moulin Rouge-style cabaret. Prime Minister Tony Blair acknowledged the winners’ hard work in a special message to the assembled group.
Only companies with accident incidence rates better than the industry average are allowed to apply for the award.
