INDIA : RICOH’s LASER PRINTER MARKET EXPANDING , UP 12 % Kolkata, Sep 9 Imaging solutions provider Ricoh India today said the total market size of laser printers in the country has been pegged at around 13 lakh units and is growing at the an annual rate of around 12 per cent.
"The total market size of laser printers and A4 MFP in India is pegged at around 13 lakh units and is growing at the rate of around 12 per cent annually," company”s global market group deputy general manager Kenichi Takeda said here.
Ricoh India is subsidiary of the USD 22-billion Ricoh group of Japan.
Takeda said that the eastern region accounts for around 20 per cent of the total printer market in India which prompted the company to plan for expanding presence in the region by 2012 fiscal.
Ricoh group”s global network provides products and solutions to more than 180 countries.
