Ingram Micro enjoys strong quarterly sales

06 — Santa Ana (CA): Ingram Micro’s Q3 worldwide sales are up 8 percent
to $7.51 billion, compared to $6.96 billion in the previous year. Net
income for the quarter was $58.5 million, or diluted EPS of $0.34,
including a stock-based compensation expense of $6.5 million. Net
income in Q3 2005 was $48.4 million.North American sales rose by 9
percent to $3.37 billion from $3.09 billion a year earlier.European
sales increased by 4 percent to $2.43 billion, from $2.34 billion in Q3
2005.Asia Pacific sales improved by 13 percent from the previous year
to $1.36 billion, from $1.21 billion a year earlier.Latin American
sales were $349 million, an increase of 8 percent on $324 million in
the previous year.
