Israel To House EFI’s New Inkjet R&D Design Centre

performance of new technologies, modules and printers.
Friday,
August 2007: EFI, a company into colour digital print servers,
superwide format printers and inks, and print management solutions,
will launch its inkjet research and development design centre in Israel
in the mid of August. The new site, located in Hod-Hasharon,
approximately 15 kms outside of Tel Aviv, was selected to take
advantage of the high-quality talent concentration of inkjet
engineering talent within the local population.”Our new location
provides us with an excellent professional, easily accessible R&D
environment to better meet the diverse needs of our global customer
base,” said Guy Gecht, chief executive officer, EFI. “We are focussed
on delivering a consistent flow of inkjet product innovations for the
superwide, label, packaging and industrial print markets.”Eli Shalev
has joined EFI as general manager and will be responsible for managing
the new centre, announced Guy Gecht. Shalev has served Scitex product
divisions as general manager and Nur Macroprinters as a vice president
of R&D and chief operating officer. “His successful career,
numerous accomplishments and continued commitment to the success of our
customers will truly be an asset to EFI and our new industry-leading
centre,” adds Gecht.
