Kyocera Mita Reaching the Euro 1 Billion Threshold
MEERBUSCH, Germany, March 06
– Product Offensive With 18 New Models
Kyocera
Mita Europe continues its business expansion. The main growth factor is
a product offensive with 18 new Kyocera devices coming in 2006. Jürgen
Krüger, General Manager Sales & Marketing EMEA, says: “By the end
of the fiscal year 2007/2008 latest, Kyocera Mita will have reached
Euro 1 billion turnover in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA)”.
This would mean roughly a 20 percent turnover increase from today.
Kyocera
has not only rejuvend its existing products but has also extended its
product range in growth segments. As one of the world-wide leading
experts in the field of document output device, Kyocera is launching
colour printers and multifunctionals with up to 32 pages per minute
(ppm) and also promotes other market segments with high growth rates,
such as monochrome printers with 45 to 69 ppm. Jürgen Krüger says: “We
can still see a vast potential for growth in the EMEA region. On the
basis of our strong b-to-b printer business, Kyocera Mita will
strengthen trends in the industry, such as colour printing,
multifunctionals and complete solutions.” Kyocera continues to pursue a
quality-targeted strategy with a clear focus on the
business-to-business market. The correctness of this approach is
confirmed by encouraging customer surveys as well as the fact that
Kyocera’s products have achieved leading positions in comparative tests
and that several major global corporations awarded contracts to
Kyocera. These corporations increasingly demand intelligent solutions
from printer manufacturers such as Kyocera Mita.
