Lexmark gets FAA contract
LEXINGTON, Ky.Lexmark International Inc., which makes computer printers and related accessories, said Tuesday that the Federal Aviation Administration has awarded it a contract to provide laser printers and other products to its more than 800 offices.The contract, which was awarded as part of an FAA strategic sourcing initiative, covers laser printers and multifunctional devices, device accessories and maintenance options. Its ceiling is $60 million if all renewal options are exercised, Lexmark said.FAA employees will be able to place orders for Lexmark devices through a variety of approved methods, including a secured Web portal.
