    U.S. Patent Office issues patents weekly. These patents were issued
    Tuesday for inventors or assignees in the Lexington area:

    Automotive
    vehicle with structural panel having selectively deployable shape
    memory alloy elements. Inventors: Ren-Jye Yang, Troy Mich.; Jerry Le,

    Tzou, Lexington. Patent 7,278,679 assigned to Ford Global Technologies
    LLC, Dearborn, Mich.Method of informing a user of an imaging apparatus
