Management changes at Canon
February 2008 – Lake Success (NY), USACanon has announced top management
changes in both North America and Europe. Tamotsu “Ted” Nakamura takes over as EVP and General Manager of Canon
USAs Imaging Systems Group, succeeding Ryoichi Bamba, who has
transferred from Canon USA to become president and CEO of Canon
Europe.Mr. Nakamura has been with Canon since 1984 and joins Canon USA
from Canon Canada where he was president and CEO since 2001, achieving
record revenue in each year of his tenure.Ryoichi Bamba had been with
Canon USA for 17 years.
