MICRO CENTERS INK NEW CARTRIDGE REFILL DEAL WITH INK-O-DEM
    Columbus,
Ohio – Computer specialty chain Micro Center has selected Ink-O-Dem as
its exclusive inkjet cartridge refilling supplier.

    Under
terms of the agreement, Chicago-based Ink-O-Dem will support all 23
Micro Center showrooms nationwide with its flagship cartridge refilling
system, which reportedly provides OEM performance at half the price of
new cartridges. The chain will share in revenue generated by the
refilling system, Ink-O-Dem said, while benefitting from a minimal total
cost of ownership.”Our ability to provide broad cartridge support and a
high-margin revenue stream make quality, reliable inkjet cartridge
refilling services a natural extension of our retailers’ service
offerings, said Ink-O-Dem CEO Harry Nicodem.

    Micro Center, a
subsidiary of Micro Electronics, is one of the nation’s largest computer
specialty chains, with 36,000 products in 12 specialized departments in
    each of its retail locations.

    Ink-O-Dem, a subsidiary of
20-year-old TonerHead, refills over 5 million cartridges annually
through the educational and retail channels, including such chains as
ACE Hardware, Walgreens and Hi-School Pharmacy. Its $10 black and $15
color cartridges are compatible with 95 percent of the integrated inkjet
cartridges available, the company said, and its refills helped save
consumers some $50 million last year. For more information, visit
